The session in the Assembly closes, the majority approves the draft laws alone

The Assembly approved all items on the agenda with 71 votes in favor this Thursday. The approval of the draft laws was made without the presence of the opposition.

Two of the most important points were changes to the 2025 budget and the security agreement with Ukraine.

3. Draft law “On the ratification of the agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction”.

4. Normative Act No. 3, dated 29.4.2025 “On some amendments and additions to Law No. 115/2024 “On the 2025 Budget””.

5. Normative Act No. 4 “On an amendment to Law No. 8668, dated 23.10.2000, “On providing Albanian citizens with passports for traveling abroad”, as amended”.

6. Normative Act No. 5 “On an amendment to Law No. 8952, dated 10.10.2002, “On the electronic identity card of Albanian citizens”, as amended”.

7. Draft law “On the ratification of the agreement on cooperation on security and long-term support between the Republic of Albania and Ukraine”.

8. Draft law “On the accession of the Republic of Albania to the Convention establishing the European Communications Office (ECO) The Hague, on 23 June 1993, as amended in Copenhagen, on 9 April 2002”.

9. Draft law “On the ratification of the loan agreement, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, for the financing of “General Budget Support for Development Efforts””.
