Igli Tare appointed Milan Sporting Director

AC Milan have officially appointed Igli Tare as First Team Sporting Director. He will report directly to the Club's Executive Director, Giorgio Furlani.

Born in Vlora, Tare has extensive experience in Italian professional football, having played for Brescia, Bologna and Lazio. After retiring from his playing career, he established himself as a high-profile manager, serving as Sporting Director of SS Lazio for over fifteen years.

During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the Club's recent successes, including three Coppa Italia titles and three Italian Super Cups.

AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani stated: "We are delighted to welcome Igli Tare to the Rossoneri family. He is the right person to start our restoration: his competence, determination and strong values, combined with a deep understanding of Italian football and an international vision, make him the ideal profile to support the next chapter of the Club, through the development of an ambitious sporting project."

The Rossoneri's new sporting director, Igli Tare, expressed his pleasure at being part of Milan.
