DP demands repeat elections in Gjirokastra and Vlora

The Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition continues to face accusations of manipulation of the May 11 electoral process, and has therefore embarked on the institutional path to contest the results in several districts of the country, where so far the number has reached five.

Today, another complaint has been filed with the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS), specifically in the Gjirokastra and Vlora Region.

The DP's request states that in the Vlora and Gjirokastër regions, the systematic use of public administration and state structures in the service of the Socialist Party's electoral interests has been evidenced.

After previous complaints in the districts of Kukës, Berat and Korçë, the DP now demands the declaration of the election result as invalid in the entire district of Gjirokastra and Vlora and the repetition of the votes for the Albanian Parliament.
