Brahimi reacts after Serbia's arrest warrant: I continue to work with honor

Police officer Dylot Brahimi has reacted after the Serbian authorities issued an arrest warrant in connection with the incident that occurred with high school graduates in northern Mitrovica. Through a Facebook post, Brahimi stressed that he is more determined than ever to continue his work in the Kosovo Police, engaging with integrity, dedication and honor.

Brahimi described this moment as a challenge, but also expressed a deep sense of gratitude for the support he received from citizens, colleagues and friends, following the event in northern Kosovo.

In his response, he writes:

"Today, more than ever, I feel determined to continue with integrity, dedication and honor. To work wholeheartedly for a police force that is fair, transparent and always close to the citizens."
Gratitude for the support from the citizens

Brahimi expressed his deep gratitude for the support he has received, adding that every word of encouragement and trust given by citizens and colleagues has reinforced his dedication to duty.

"Dear colleagues, friends and all those who have supported me, today I stand before you with a deep sense of gratitude and pride. Every word of encouragement, every hand extended to me, every trust given to me – all have left an indelible mark on my dedication to this task," he said in his post.

He emphasized that working in the Kosovo Police is not just a profession, but a calling and dedication, and that the support he has received from citizens is what motivates him to continue forward.

"You have given me the motivation to be better every day, you have reminded me why this work matters so much… Let us move forward together — with faith, unity and commitment to the common good," Brahimi concluded.
