The Tirana Municipal Police has announced a significant increase in cooperation with citizens since the activation of the dedicated WhatsApp line (+355 68 950 0030), for reporting traffic violations.
According to the official announcement, 253 complaints were registered during the last week alone, which were categorized as follows:
-94 cases of incorrect parking,
-78 complaints about occupying parking spaces reserved for private entities,
-49 complaints from the taxi service about blocking their seats,
-2 cases of occupying spaces reserved for people with disabilities.
In 30 of the cases, the drivers themselves removed the vehicles after reporting, without the need for the intervention of the Municipal Police. For the rest, the urban order structures intervened immediately, taking administrative measures according to the Road Code.
