The claim for Jorgo Goro is postponed

The hearing for the filing of a claim for the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, has been postponed to July 2.

Prosecutor Elvin Gokaj said that the final conclusions of 75 pages have been prepared, but time is needed to analyze the defense's claims.

Jorgo Goro is in prison after being charged with abuse of power and misappropriation of state property.

The case was raised after the complaint of Fredi Beleri, who accuses Goro of having alienated an area of 4,263 square meters of land in 2016, passing it on to Arqile Bollano, who was appointed as the successor to the head of the Himara Municipality.
