Lapaj: We can merge into a party with 'Nisma Thurje'

The leader of the "Albania Becomes" Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has declared that the political force he leads could merge into a single party with the pre-election coalition partner, "Nisma Thurje".

"The Nisma Thurje party is a one-sided party. We are the 'Albania Becomes' Movement, which is a one-sided party. We have collaborated on the pre-election coalition," Lapaj said on A2 CNN.

He further added that they are negotiating with the party led by Endri Shabani and Panajot Soko on how they will transform into a single political force.

"With the conclusion of this process, we will renegotiate how we will continue our journey. Before the elections, there was an approach that cohesion could occur and we could merge into one. It remains to be discussed. I am open to all variants, it remains to be seen. But it could happen. We welcome any union that brings values, and we think that we bring values ," Lapaj declared.
