They produced and sold cannabis, 2 brothers arrested

Fier police have arrested two brothers, K. Sh., 47 years old, and E. Sh., 26 years old, who were producing and selling cannabis.

The police report that E. Sh., upon noticing the presence of the police, attempted to run away, but was immediately caught.

During the operation codenamed "Implicazione", 2 automatic firearms, 3 combs, 1 knife, doses of cannabis, 200 cannabis seeds and 179 cannabis seedlings planted in pots were seized.

"As a result of the maximum commitment of the Fier Police services and the continuous work of police intelligence, for citizens who produced and sold the narcotic cannabis sativa, as well as possessed firearms, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Implication".

During the operation, the services of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Fier arrested and handcuffed citizens K. Sh., 47 years old, and E. Sh., 26 years old, residents of the village of Ngjeqar. Citizen E. Sh., as soon as he noticed the Police services, tried to run away, but was immediately caught by the rapid intervention of the Police services.

During the physical search, citizen E. Sh. was found to have doses of cannabis, which he was selling in the village where he lived.

"From the searches carried out in the apartment of these citizens, in the village of Ngjeqar, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 2 automatic firearms, 3 combs, 1 knife, doses of cannabis, 200 cannabis seeds and 179 cannabis seedlings planted in pots," the police announced.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action.
