Changes in the government, Rama appoints Ina Majko Deputy Minister of Health and

Ina Majko was appointed today by government decision as Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection.

 The Socialist Party candidate for deputy in the Vlora district, who on May 11 failed to secure a seat in the Assembly as a deputy, was appointed to the new position previously held by Niko Hyka. 

Recall that during the electoral campaign, Prime Minister Edi Rama had announced Majko's name as the first minister of the next government if he wins the May 11 elections.

RELEASE FROM DUTY

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Mr. Niko Hyka, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection, is relieved of this duty.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
